Penhale Holiday Cottages
are in Feock, a little village between Truro and
Falmouth in South Cornwall.
Three lovely self catering cottages, hidden
away in the beautiful Cornish countryside, next door to
the National Trust's Trelissick Gardens.
The cottages are in an attractive courtyard, originally
the Coach House and Stable yard of the former Dower

Approached by a private drive shared with Penhale House, Penhale
Holiday Cottages occupy a South
facing, sheltered hollow overlooking farmland, a short walk to
Trelissick Beach.
Each cottage is attractively decorated and simply furnished with fitted carpets. They are fully equipped
for self catering, with night store heaters, colour televisions, videos,
DVD's, microwaves, and open fires. Wood is provided.
There is a garden, a shared laundry room with two automatic washing machines and
two tumble dryers, and private car parking in the courtyard. We have also placed a ping pong table in the building by the garage and each cottage has its own ping pong bats and balls.
We offer dinghy facilities by arrangement for those wanting to sail their boats whilst staying at the cottages;
and babysitting (by arrangement).
The climate in the immediate area is
sufficiently mild to allow pleasant Winter and Autumn holidays whilst the many
spring gardens
in Cornwall with tropical plants make a holiday early in the year most enjoyable.
The cottages are close to the River Fal where boats and yachts
of all kinds can always be seen.
The King Harry Ferry, nearby, is an old chain ferry which transports
cars and foot passengers across the River Fal giving easy access to the Roseland
Peninsula. Here, you will find good pubs, sea fishing and sandy beaches (with public toilets) ideal for all ages.
The North
Cornwall coast offers excellent surfing and nearby Loe Beach at Feock offers adventure days for children and general water sports for all ages and abilities.
Penhale cottages are ideally situated for those wishing to visit
any or all of the Cornish gardens and for those who enjoy cycling, sailing, golfing, tennis and riding. The Eden Project is 30-40 minutes drive. The National Maritime Museum at
Falmouth is just 10 miles.
